Bolivia Organic SHD AECAR - A single-origin, high-grown coffee, characterized by chocolate flavors, smoky notes and a smooth finish. Produces a full-bodied cup with rich aroma and distinctive acidity. Micro-roasted to a medium/dark, full-city roast.
* Bolivia organic coffee is grown in the mountain regions of Bolivia at an altitude of 4,900 to 6,000 feet. AECAR is an ecological farming cooperative dedicated to sustainable agricultural practices and economic fairness to the small farmers who are members.
Brazil Cerrado Vintage - A single-origin, natural processed coffee, characterized by a mildly earthy flavor and richly fragrant aromas. Produces a medium-bodied cup with mild acidity and subtle depth. Micro-roasted to a medium, city roast .
Columbia Supremo - A single-origin, characterized by a sparkling acidity and distinctive aroma. Produces a light-bodied cup with a balanced flavor. Micro-roasted to a medium, city roast.
Costa Rica Estate - A single-origin, high-grown estate coffee, characterized by a lively, elegant acidity and a tangy aroma. Produces a medium-bodied cup with a balanced flavor. Micro-roasted to a medium, city roast.
Ethiopia Harrar - A single origin, natural processed coffee, characterized by a winy high notes and exotic, earthy base notes. Produces a substantially full-bodied cup with excellent complexity. Micro-roasted to a medium/dark, full-city roast.
Ethiopia Sidamo - A single-origin, washed coffee, characterized by an intense, floral-like aroma and flavor. Produces a medium-bodied cup with a pleasant acidity. Micro-roasted to a medium, city roast .
Guatemala Antigua - A single-origin, high grown coffee, characterized by a rich, complete cup character and lively flavor complexities. Produces a medium-bodied cup with a clean finish. Micro roasted to a medium/dark, full-city roast .
Guatemalan Huehuetenango - A single-origin, high-grown coffee, characterized by nuanced fruit notes with a delicate balance of bright acidity and body. Produces a medium-bodied cup with a mild aroma and a smooth finish. Micro-roasted to a medium/dark, full-city roast.
* Guatemalan Huehuetenango Zaculeu is grown in the remote western mountains of Guatemala at an altitude of 3,250 to 5,250 feet. The area is inhabited by the Mayan ethnic group. Zaculeu, once ancient capital of the Mayans, is today a microclimate for coffee culture. The coffee plants are cultivated under different layers and shade species that help reduce erosion and create a natural habitat for native and migratory bird species.
Java Estate - A single-origin, estate coffee, characterized by a rich, satisfying flavor, balanced acidity, and a complex, spicy aromatic character. Produces a full-bodied cup with excellent dimension. Micro-roasted to a medium/dark, full-city roast .
Kenya AA - A single-origin coffee, characterized by an intense flavor, bright hearty character, and wine-like acidity. Produces a medium-bodied cup that is both unique and distinctive. Micro-roasted to a medium/dark, city roast .
Mexico Malinal Estate - A single-origin, estate coffee, characterized by a fragrant aroma and a bright, clean flavor with mild acidity. Produces a light-bodied cup that is pleasantly mild. Roasted to a medium, city roast.
Papua New Guinea Purosa - A single-origin, high-grown, washed organic coffee, characterized by caramelly and floral aromas, sweet and bright acidity with floral, fruity, nutty and creamy notes. Produces a full-bodied cup with complex and balanced flavors.
* Organic Papua New Guinea coffee is grown in the highlands of Papua New Guinea at altitudes of between 4,000 and 8,000 feet. Volcanic soil and equatorial climate provide ideal growing conditions for coffee. Small estate farming and sustainable agriculture are widely practiced. Inspections are carried out annually by NASAA (National Association for Sustainable Agriculture of Australia). NASAA is fully credited and accepted by the international organizations of IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements) and meet with the European Community (EC) and USA standards for organic produce.
Sulawesi Kalossi "Toraja Estate"- A single-origin, semi-washed coffee, characterized by rich, earthy, and nutty flavors with hints of spice and wine. Produces a full-bodied cup with low acidity. Micro-roasted to a medium/dark, full-city roast.
* A limited production coffee from the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, this coffee carries milk well and is ideal for breakfast and as an after-dinner dessert drink.
Sumatra Mandheling - A single-origin coffee characterized by a concentrated flavor and complex aroma, reminiscent of sweet spices. Produces an unusually smooth, full-bodied cup with remarkable depth. Micro-roasted to a medium/dark, full-city roast.
Tanzania Peaberry- A single-origin coffee, characterized by a balance of delicate floral and citrus notes and a mellow, wine-like acidity. Produces a medium-bodied cup with a mild aroma and a clean finish. Micro-roasted to a medium, city roast.
* Tanzania coffee is grown on the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro. Coffee beans usually are two beans that form a nut but occasionally a small, single bean is produced, this is a Peaberry. Many coffee connoisseurs prefer Peaberries.
